It's the (very) short story of a girl our family has sponsored for several years but who I met for the first time on my trip. As you'll be able to tell, it wasn't a film I intended to make -- I cobbled it together fairly quickly out of clips from a larger project in order to meet the requirement of producing at least one movie before the end of the workshop.

P.S. Thanks to all of you who have expressed continued interest in this project. I will blog further over the next few days but have enjoyed decompressing, cogitating and logging film over the Thanksgiving holidays. It looks like I shot enough footage for two more films; it will be interesting to see the shape they take...
